Live the Difference

Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (3 minutes) “ ‘You have said harsh things against me,’ says the Lord. ‘Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’ ‘You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What did we gain by carrying out His requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty? But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly the evildoers prosper, and even those who challenge God escape.’”    (Malachi 3:13-15)

Passage: Psalm 34:1-22

Many people claim that they don’t attend church because the church is full of hypocrites. Two things. One, it’s really not true. Most people who are active in their church are genuine in their character and conduct. Two, churches are not made up of perfect people. No one will ever find a perfect church and if they did find one, they shouldn’t join, because they would ruin it.

While no excuse will ever stand up before God on judgment day, we need to live in a way that would eliminate the excuse of the world for rejecting Christ. God promises wonderful things to us as believers. If we don’t live like we believe His promises, the world certainly won’t be attracted to Christ. Live the difference Jesus has made in you. The difference will bring blessing to you and it will bless others around you.
