Passage: Psalm 18:1-3, 46-50
On January 2, 1982, Pam and I were married. In those vows we promised to love and cherish each other and to be faithful to our marriage. We understand that breaking our vows would be great pain to our lives and that the damage would be hard if not impossible to repair. Therefore, we work on our marriage. We do things that help our relationship and we try not to do things that hurt our relationship. We know that we need to express our love to each other in verbally and visually.
Marriage is one of the pictures God gives us to help us understand our relationship with Him. When you believed in Jesus and received Him as your Lord and Savior, you became a part of God’s church, which is the Bride of Christ. Jesus is the groom. He loves you and expresses that love through His Word and through the many ways He blesses you. At its essence, worship is loving God back. You will fulfill the purpose of dynamic worship when you spend time with God, and express your affection for Christ in word and deed. Is Jesus worthy of your love and worship? Yes He is!
