For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ ” (Matthew 25:34-36)

Passage: Psalm 139:1-10

Before my wife and I went on a recent trip, on of our technologically gifted men told me that he knew how to tap into live camera feeds around the world. He said he would look for me while we were on vacation. He never saw me, but God did. Everywhere I went. Every interaction with people. Every word I spoke. Every thought I had. God saw it all.

When Jesus told His disciples about the future time of judgment, He was pointing out that every act of kindness you do for someone else is recognized by God. The awareness that God sees everything you do can be both an inhibitor and an encourager. It will inhibit actions that reflect poorly on Christ and it will encourage you to do things that reflect well on Christ. God is watching you today. Do good to others and make Him smile!
