Read – (3 minutes) “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ ” (Matthew 25:37-40)

Passage: Psalm 145:1-21

My son had his first full-time job in the media industry at a film studio that produced the show of a well-known conservative talk show host. That host took an interest in my son and got permission to hire him from the studio. The host then put my son in his film production unit and that led to my son being a movie producer today. I will always speak well of that radio host because he was kind and good to my son. I would feel the same way if he was on the other side of the political perspective. Kindness to my children is viewed as kindness to me. It’s personal.

Jesus said that acts of compassionate ministry to those who cannot give something back is regarded as personal to Him. He is the Creator of all people. He loves everyone, regardless of who they are. Kind acts are viewed as being done to Jesus Himself. He takes it personally and those acts make Him smile.
