Passage: Matthew 28:16-20

God wired man in His image with the capacity to dream and have a vision for the future. Successful businesses understand this. Unsuccessful ones do not. I once saw a picture that showed a sign on a business that failed. The sign read, “Going out of business. We didn’t know what our business was.” Mission describes why a business exists. Vision describes the kind of future the business wants to have. Vision has been defined as “a picture of the future that produces passion.” Vision is what gets you up, gets you moving and keeps you going when times are tough. Mission and vision are vital for success.

However, nothing in this world compares to understanding the mission God has for His children and to getting a vision of what God wants for your life and your church. The reason is that God’s mission and vision for you is eternal. Catch the vision God has for you and be a part of changing our world!
