Passage: Psalm 1:1-5

Part of the growing up process is making decisions. For children, wise parents make the decisions that are essential for the child’s health, education and well-being. For example, most children didn’t make the decision about going to school before the COVID-19 pandemic and then they didn’t make the decision about doing school at home because of the pandemic. Both decisions were made by others with the well-being of children in mind.

But there comes a time when we start making our own decisions. We decide if we want more education. We decide if we will visit a doctor or dentist. We decide how we will respond to our employer. Every decision we make has a consequence. Some are minor, but other consequences are major. Because God wants the best for your life, He wants you to make all your decisions within His will and in accordance with His Word. Trust the Lord and let Him guide your decisions for life.
