We Speak about Jesus Together

Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (3 minutes) “I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power. Although I am less than the least of all God’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for the ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.” (Ephesians 3:7-9)

     Passage: Matthew 28:16-20

The average time for a new vaccine to be developed and approved for distribution is around 10 years. That is why the potential for a COVID-19 vaccine to be available before long would be an amazing feat. Consider this. What would you do if you were given the information that the vaccine was ready and you were told how to tell people to get it? Would you keep that information to yourself? Would you just share it with your family and a select group of people you know? Of course not. You would get the information to everyone you could, as fast as you could and in as many ways as you could.

The gospel is the vaccine for the curse of sin. The only way people can receive God’s forgiveness for sin and have eternal life in heaven is by believing in Jesus and receiving Him. Paul had a call to preach the gospel and we do too. Preaching is simply announcing good news to others. It is not restricted to the sermon on Sunday. It occurs any time you speak about Jesus in every way you can. We have been given the gospel and we’re in this together to share it. Let’s do that well!
