Our mission at First Students is to SHARE JESUS with students from 6th through 12th grade while teaching them how to LOVE PEOPLE in our community and world.
We want to engage with students and SHARE JESUS with them by developing meaningful relationships, teaching biblical truths, and creating a community to encourage them as they grow. It is our goal to partner with parents and equip them to SHARE JESUS with their own students in their homes.
We aim to show students how to LOVE PEOPLE in our community and around the world by providing missions education, participating in service projects, and equipping them to share their faith with others.
Sunday School class at 9:30 AM.
Students are encouraged to attend worship service with their families at 11:00 AM.
Skip Birtman, Minister of students
Skip serves as the Minister of Students and leads worship in our late service, “The Eleven.” He joined the First Baptist Grand Prairie staff in October 2021 after serving almost eight years at FBC Palestine, TX. Skip is married to Amy, and they have three kids, Noah, Isaac, and Avery.
