      Passage: Psalm 73:21-28

Solomon went on a journey in his life to see if a person could find true meaning for life is God was left out of the equation. The ultimate answer was no, but he explored every kind of area that people in this world search for under the sun. He tried intellectualism in gaining all the knowledge he could. He tried hedonism in pursuing pleasure through parties, projects and possessions. He said all of it was meaningless, because none of those things could give eternal meaning to life. Then Solomon turned his attention to observing something else. All of life is lived in the space of time.

Time is quantitative. Sixty seconds in a minute. Sixty minutes in an hour and so on. Time is also relative. When you are young, it seems time moves slowly. When you are older, it seems time moves fast. Solomon observed that time never stops, but within the space of time, there are principles we can apply to live a life with meaning with God in the equation as we are living in time under the sun.
