Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes. Who is like the wise man? Who knows the explanation of things? Wisdom brightens a man’s face and changes its hard appearance.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29-8:1)
      Passage: Psalm 86:1-7

         The Garden of Eden was perfect. Adam and Eve were created perfect. Made in God’s image, God created man to be the object of His love and for them to love Him back. As Solomon said, “God made mankind upright.” However, Adam and Eve gave in to the temptation of Satan. Sin entered their lives and brought the curse of sin upon creation itself. On his own, mankind has tried everything to find that ideal that was lost in the Garden, but as Solomon found out, nothing anyone does will bring meaning and true satisfaction to life when God is left out of the equation of life.

This world has many uncertainties, with unexpected events and disappointing things. God wants to help you deal with them and to experience life right side up instead of upside down. He wants you to be wise. Wisdom begins with putting your trust in Jesus and letting Him teach you through His Word. Wisdom will change your outlook and the way you are able to deal with things that occur. Others will notice and the Lord will use you to make a difference for Him.
