Trust in God

Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.” (Isaiah 26:3-4)
      Passage: Mark 4:35-41

       A little girl knelt to pray before going to bed and said, “God, please take care of mommy and daddy, my baby brother and grandma and grandpa. And take care of yourself, because if anything happens to you, we’re all sunk!” One thing you can count on with God. He is our Rock and will never have anything that moves Him off His Sovereign throne in the universe.
      One day, Jesus told His disciples to get in a boat and go to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. A huge storm came up without warning and threatened to sink the boat. The disciples found Jesus asleep in the storm. He wasn’t worried. He didn’t fret over what was needed. When they woke Him, He got up and spoke to the wind and waves and said, “Peace! Be still!” Jesus is our “Rock eternal”. He has the power to convert any sinner and to calm any storm. Put your trust in Him and experience the distinct peace of God, which cannot be swept away by any circumstance. God loves you and He will give peace to your heart.
