Make an Impact through Kingdom Giving

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

       Passage: 1 John 4:16-18

        John 3:16 is one of, if not the most familiar verse in the Bible. It is also the simplest expression of the gospel. It tells us that God loves us. It also tells us what love does. Love gives. You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving. God is a giver and if we are going to reflect Him and show our love for Him, we need to be givers - Kingdom givers.

Many believers misunderstand giving and often view giving as something we need to do because the church needs money. The early church did not have a lot of money, but God used the believers to “turn the world upside down”. (Acts 17:6) Our giving is not something we need to do because God needs money. Giving is something we need to do because we need to do it to be all He wants us to be and because of the impact we can have for the Kingdom. Love is spelled G-I-V-E. Set your love on Jesus and make an impact through Kingdom giving.
