Be Convicted to Live by God’s Word

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. The words of the wise are like goads, their collected saying like firmly embedded nails – given by one Shepherd.” (Ecclesiastes 12:9-11)
  Passage: 2 Timothy 3:14-16

        The Bible literally means “the Book”. It is the most unique book in all the world. Written over a period of about 1600 years, with different parts written in about three languages (mainly Hebrew and Greek), written by about 40 different authors, the Bible contains a unity of thought and purpose that would be impossible to achieve apart from what the Bible claims about itself. The Bible is not the creation from the mind of man. It is the inspired Word of God, who guided every author to write exactly what God gave to reveal Himself and the way of salvation for mankind to have eternal life and a relationship with Him.
       Solomon pointed this out, when he said that he had written words of wisdom that were upright and true, but then he confessed that they are the words of “one Shepherd”. That Shepherd is God. He created you and He designed life for you. His Word will show you how to live life right side up to be the best you can be. Be convicted to live by God’s Word and enjoy your life in Him.
