Experience Life in Christ

Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:30-31)

Passage: Mark 16:1-8

There are some things that are sad when they are empty; an empty gas tank, an empty food pantry, an empty bank account. However, the saddest thing is an empty life. There are many people who have full tanks of gas, full pantries of food and full bank accounts, but inside they are empty. They have sought for fulfillment in the things of the world, but they have found that those things do not bring deep satisfaction and they do not provide any true hope for eternity.

Jesus said, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet loses his soul?” (Matthew 16:26) He also said, “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) He can deliver on that promise to give a full life, because in HIs resurrection He has left something that is empty - an empty tomb. You can experience life in Christ and have an impact for Him. Believe!
