God will Show you His Plans for You

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “ There the Lord showed him the whole land – . . . Then the Lord said to him, ‘This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it." (Deuteronomy 34:1b-4)

     Passage: Isaiah 43:14-21

       About 40 years earlier, Moses had sent spies into the Promised Land with the intention of mapping out the cities to help in strategizing how the people of Israel would conquer the land God had promised to give them. When the 10 spies caused the people to turn away in fear, God sent them on a 40-year wandering time in the wilderness. Moses did not step foot in the land then, but now, God led him up to the top of Mt. Nebo and let him see the entire land that He had promised.

        What God did for Moses physically, He will do for you spiritually when you get on higher ground with Jesus. As you spend time in His Word and in prayer, God will show you His plans for you. He wants you to have a picture of the future that will give you passion for pursuing God’s purposes. Many churches and individual believers lose sight of a vision. They value their own preferences and traditions instead of valuing reaching people. Get a vision for the future in your life now and with the promise of heaven to come. The best is always yet to be!
