Give a Clear Picture of Jesus

Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they me see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
     Passage: Psalm 112:1-10

         Every day, chances are that you will interact with people. It may be in your place of work, your neighborhood, your school or just from being out in the community. As you interact, people will see how you act. They will hear how you talk. They will sense your attitude in your demeanor. All of those things and more, present a picture. If people see you and then find out that you are a believer in Jesus, would they be surprised or would it make sense to them.
        Jesus said we are the light of the world. Some people make think that no one is watching, but people see you all the time. God wants you to live a life focused on Jesus so they get a clear picture of Him because your life matches your lips and the belief you claim matches the behavior you have. Be content with who you are in Jesus and know that you are a one-of-a-kind person that is specially designed for His glory. Be consecrated to the purposes of God and serve Him consistently. Let others see Jesus in you!
