Relax in God’s Provision and Revere Him

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil – this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere Him.” (Ecclesiastes 3:12-14) Passage: Matthew 6:25-34; Proverbs 1:7

         As Solomon searched for meaning in life without God in the equation, he observed that God had designed life in a way, that even when people do not acknowledge Him, they can enjoy life here on earth under the sun. When a person finds work that he enjoys, sets priorities of family and friends and gives to others, he will find a lot of satisfaction. However, what he will not find without God is the sense of security that comes from knowing God is his provider and he will not have the eternal answer to what happens after he dies.
        The secret of true contentment in life and confident assurance of eternal life is to have a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus. When you know Jesus, you can relax in knowing that God will provide for all your needs, and you can live a wise life that begins with having reverence for Him. God loves you and want you to experience His best as you live in time under the sun. Love Christ. Lean on His strength and live for Him each day.
