Turn People to Jesus Through a Consistent Witness

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Now the crowd that was with Him when He called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.” (John 12:17)
     Passage: Acts 1:1-8

         Many people see the movie industry as glamourous and wealthy. It certainly is for a few, but not for most, in fact, I read one article that said about 80% of all movies made, included studio productions and independent films, do not make a profit. Of the movies that not only make a profit, but make a large profit or even become blockbusters, there is one big commonality. It isn’t big budgets, or big stars. It is big mouths. That is, the first people who saw the movie, liked it and told their friends. Their friends went to see it, liked it and told others.
        God’s plan for turning the world to Jesus is simple. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” God’s plan is for His children to be consistent witnesses in telling others about Jesus. The world says religion should be private. Religion may be private, but a relationship is not. When you truly love someone, you are not ashamed to let others know. Show your love for Christ and be open to opportunities to share a witness for Him. The easiest way is a personal invitation to a service. God will use you.
