Rejoice Each Day and Live Wise

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 8:15)
      Passage: Psalm 118:19-23

         I don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow or even the rest of this day. I can find myself frustrated over decisions made by some government authorities and wonder how some people got into the positions they hold. I can wonder why some who I know are having to deal with very trying times when others who think nothing of Christ are seemingly carefree. In dealing with all those things, there is one thing God gave to me and you that we are responsible for. It is the capacity to choose our attitude.
        God wired us with emotions. Happiness and sadness are emotions that we feel depending on circumstances we encounter. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we cry. Both are normal and God given. Yet, in the midst of every circumstance of life and regardless of anything someone in authority does or does not do, we can choose to rejoice in the day God has given us. As you rest in God’s character and trust in His love, God calls you to rejoice that you know Jesus. He will never leave you and He will see you through today and forever. Rejoice in Him and live wise today.
