       Passage: Philippians 4:10-13

According to some estimates, 1 in 10, or around 800 million people will go to bed hungry, because they only had enough food to eat one time or maybe not at all. On average, around 1000 children across the world die every day from illnesses caused by dirty water and poor hygiene issues. About 45% of the deaths of children across the world are due to hunger related issues.
You probably won’t remember the meals you ate today, but chances are, this year, you will eat over 1000 meals, not counting the availability of snacks in between. You will have clean water and access to good hygiene. One secret of making today count is to be content with what you have and give thanks for the simple blessings of life. Don’t look at what you don’t have. Look at what you do have and thank God for His provision. The world promotes discontentment. God wants you to learn contentment and find your true satisfaction in Him.
