The Spirit brings about the Change within you.

Read - (2 1/2 minutes) - "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: . . . But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:19-23)
Passage: Romans 7:21-25
I heard a story of a man (I’ll call him Joe) who worked in a factory where he was known for his gruffness, foul language and heavy drinking after work. After rejecting his wife’s and any else’s witness for Christ for many years, he came under conviction, received Christ and was baptized. The next Monday when he arrived at work, some fellow co-workers decided to make fun of him. One said, “Hey Joe, I heard you got some religion! I guess you now believe that story about Jesus turning water into wine!” Joe replied, “I don’t know about that. I do know that He changed beer into furniture at my house.”
Jesus changes lives. Testimony after testimony can be given by believers about the change Christ made in them. Paul points out the difference the Spirit of Christ makes in believers. The fruit of the Spirit is a singular fruit with nine characteristics. Those nine characteristics are totally opposite of the character and conduct of what the sin nature produces. Jesus enables believers to live different from the world and to reflect His character. Thank God for the change He made in you!
