Accept God's Love, Mercy, and Grace
Pray - (1/2 minute)
Read - (2 1/2 minutes) - "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. . . . The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. . . . Praise the Lord, all His heavenly hosts, you His servants who do His will.” (Psalm 103:11-21)
Passage: Matthew 11:28-30
King David looked up and saw the sun, moon and stars in the sky. He compared the greatness of God’s love toward His people to the heights of heaven, but in his time, he had no idea how incredible that comparison could be. Earth is in the Milky Way Galaxy. If the Milky Way was the size of a basketball, earth would be smaller than a single grain of sand in comparison. In the vastness of the universe, the Milky Way is a small galaxy among over 100,000 galaxies. Think about that and then reflect on this. God’s love for you is still greater in comparison to the distance of the farthest galaxy.
How special are you that the God who created the universe, wants a personal, eternal relationship with you and all you have to do is believe in Jesus and accept His love, mercy and grace. I think one of God’s favorite words is “come”. Jesus invites you to come and drink from the fountain of life. He invites you to come and eat of the bread of life. He invites you to come and find rest for your soul. What an invitation! What a Savior! Love Him with all your heart.
