Love God by Adoring Who He Is

Read - (2 1/2 minutes) - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” (Psalm 103:1)
Passage: Acts 4:1-12
When Moses encountered God at the burning bush in the wilderness, he heard God tell him that he was being sent back to Egypt to deliver God’s people out of bondage. Moses asked what he should say if the people asked him who sent him. God said, “I Am Who I Am”. (Exodus 3:14) The name God revealed to Moses is YAHWEH, or Jehovah in our English translations. Through the Old Testament years, God added attachments to the name to help us know who He is: Jehovah Jireh (our provider); Jehovah Nissi (our banner); Jehovah Shalom (our peace); Jehovah Rapha (our healer); Jehovah McKaddesh (our sanctifier); Jehovah Rohi (our shepherd); Jehovah Tsidkenu (our righteousness).
There are many names that God has revealed for Himself, but the name that stands above every name, is the name Jesus. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is Savior, Counselor, Comforter, Friend. Call on His name and give Him your adoration for who He is. Your love will grow deeper for Him as you do.
